When we launched Jack’s Neurobrew a few weeks ago, our focus was on getting our coffee into the world and sharing a family project that means a lot to us. In our September 2 blog post, we talked about five things we had already learned since starting the company. Today, we are excited to share the next step in our journey.
We are becoming part of the local community in a bigger way. Jack’s Neurobrew is now a member of the La Grange Area Business Association, and we are joining the Western Springs Business Association as well. These groups bring together small businesses that care about helping each other grow, and we are proud to be part of that network.
Even more exciting, we are moving beyond the online space and bringing our coffee directly into the community. We will be present at in-person events, starting with activities at La Grange Highlands School. These events give us the chance to connect with our neighbors, let people taste our coffee, and share the story of why this business is important to our family.
Our goal has always been more than selling coffee. We want to build relationships, create conversations about autism awareness, and support local connections that matter. Joining these associations and showing up at local events is the next step in making that goal real.
We are grateful for the support we have already received and look forward to meeting more of you face to face in the coming months. If you see Jack’s Neurobrew at a community event, please stop by to say hello. We would love to share a cup of coffee with you.
This is only the beginning. What started as an idea has now become part of the community we love. Thank you for being part of the journey.
